Kurt Reinicke: born on February 26, 1891 in Leipzig-Lindenau, died in 1938 in the Oranienburg concentration camp; coppersmith, 1921/1922 municipal councilor in Knautkleeberg. - On October 13, 1948, the 17th city council passed a resolution to name the Schmuckplatz between Seumestrasse and what was then Parkstrasse (today: Ritter-Pflugk-Strasse) in Leipzig-Knauthain after Kurt Reinicke. However, the name was not added to the official street name directory until 2017.
