Crib Goch is a serious and thrilling grade 1 scramble. It's a truly awesome run used by international Sky Races and the classic Snowdon Horseshoe fell running challenge.
On a good day without much wind, it's wonderful running, jumping and balancing but in higher winds or winter conditions it's a completely different beast with serious consequences.
As a runner you'll often be moving much quicker than walkers, even on the scrambling sections so it's worth trying to get up early or at least away from peak times to avoid becoming part of a caterpillar along the ridge.
