Bussana Vecchia is a small stone village of medieval origin that was abandoned following a catastrophic earthquake at the end of the nineteenth century. In the 1950s a group of artists settled here, creating a real open-air atelier. Today it is known as the "artists' (or hippie) village".

Incredibly beautiful place! Very many artists there and also very nice to eat. A must-see if you're in the region
