The customs house Steinbachtal (also customs house Heidingsfeld) is located at Mergentheimer Straße 78 on the boundary between Würzburg and the formerly independent city of Heidingsfeld. The Steinbachtal and Waldkugelweg roads branch off at the Steinbachtal customs house. Access to the Steinbachtal facilities is also located here.
The listed customs house is a one-storey half-hipped roof building with jambs, dwellings with free rafters and a corner tower with a pointed dome roof. The building has plaster masonry with sandstone frames and dominating half-timbered parts and was built in the historicizing style around 1890.
