The coastal path from Elgol to Camasunary is stunning. The route is varied with some boggy sections and is at times a narrow track through ferns and heather, loose stone and sections that required a bit of scrambling (although I am quite short!). Sure footing is needed – this isn't a casual stroll!

The stretch between Elgol and the Bothy is very scenic, but requires surefootedness and a head for heights as much of the trail is along a very steep coastline and parts of the trail are washed away in places.
