Hiking

August von Münch, honored here, was the son of Baron Friedrich von Münch (1788 to 1856, manor owner and entrepreneur) and lived to be only 13 years old. The Münch couple had a memorial stele erected in the park of Filseck Castle in memory of their son. After the castle was destroyed by fire, the stele was secured in Göppingen and, following restoration of the castle grounds and park, was re-erected there in 2016.
