The historic vaulted cellar was built in 1842 to store natural ice that was used to cool beer. In time for the 1225th anniversary in 1999, the renovation and repair work on the "beer cellar" was completed. In months of work, citizens and associations have carried out voluntary work to extensively rehabilitate one of the few historical monuments in Zeiskam opposite the cemetery. The beer cellar can be visited by appointment.
