Municipal Park in the Chemików Estate

The park is located on the outskirts of the oldest of Oświęcim's housing estates - Osiedle Chemików. It covers an area of approx. 30 ha. The city has been in charge of the park since 2000.
The area used to be the isolation of the residential buildings in Oświęcim from the Chemical Plant located further in the area. There are currently paths, pedestrian alleys, elements of small architecture for recreation and maintaining order, as well as organized high and low greenery. The area is undulating in some places by the Potok Klucznikowski Stream. Along both sides of Al. Tysiąclecia - dividing the park into two parts, there are bicycle paths. On the outskirts of the park at Chemików Street, there is an ice hall for 3,500 spectators and an indoor swimming pool with Olympic dimensions. There are car parks next to these facilities. Some of the alleys in the park are illuminated, a toboggan hill called by children "Whale" was arranged, a mini skate park with roller skating equipment, a communication town adapted to learning the rules of the road for children with a playground for them, several squares with flower beds.
