MonteKali is the spoil heap of the potash mine in Heringen. This and the spoil heap of the Philippsthal mine, located a few kilometers away, are so characteristic of the landscape that they gave the region the nickname "Land of the White Mountains."
Both are a great destination and photo opportunity at any time of year. MonteKali - Heringen - can also be climbed as part of a guided tour.
