The Sint-Martinuskerk is the parish church of Gors-Opleeuw, located on the Martinusstraat.
The parish of Gors-Opleeuw is already old. Kerniel also belonged to this parish until the 13th century, and furthermore it included Rullekoven, Eggertingen, Grimmertingen and Zammelen. In 1034 the right of patronage came to the Saint Laurentius abbey in Liège. No trace of the oldest church, mentioned in 1034, has been found.
