The top of Aixita at 704 meters above sea level offers beautiful views of the Sakana corridor, the Larraun river valley and the town of Irurtzun. An ideal place to spend a good time appreciating these beautiful postcards.

These ruins of the rock castle of Aixita, Aicita, Ayzita or Aitzita are definitely worth a visit.
They may date from the 10th century and remained in use for at least four centuries guarding the Osquia Gorge (Oskia PIL).
