Beautiful path up to the eastern summit of the Kampenwand... you have to climb a little and should therefore be sure-footed... it's amazing how many inexperienced hikers venture up here thanks to the nearby cable car.

At 1664 meters high, the Kampenwand is certainly not the highest mountain in the Bavarian Alps, but due to its characteristic rugged rock formations at the top, reminiscent of the crest on a rooster's head, it is actually one of the most beautiful and striking in Bavaria!
