Sakskøbing Church

Sakskøbing Church, built around 1200, is a late Romanesque brick building that was expanded to include a nave and a tower in the following centuries.
The 48 m high tower was built in 1852. A special attraction is the sengothic altarpiece from the 15th century from Lübeck. The high Renaissance pulpit with evangelistic figures dates from 1620. The church organ was built in 1866 by Daniel Köhne. The Allen organ was built in 2005.
