Cesare Battisti Mountain Hut

Located at 1,765 meters above sea level, this large and welcoming mountain refuge, a stone's throw from Lama Lite and Lake Bargetana, offers accommodation and refreshment options.

Inaugurated in 1925, the refuge has 60 beds, both in dormitories and in private rooms, and a total of 130 seats both outdoors and indoors. There is also a winter bivouac with eight sleeping places. It is also possible to pitch a tent in the immediate vicinity of the shelter.

Thanks to its strategic position at the foot of Monte Prado and Monte Cusna, the Battisti refuge is a perfect stopover for multi-day outings in these mountains.
