Tips
Passo delle Forbici is located at 1,573 meters above sea level on the forest road that connects the Emilian side to the Tuscan side. The road was used to transport timber and coal from the Abetina Reale and the sawmill.
On site there is also a small chapel and a memorial to the Resistance partisans who fell in the battle which was fought here on 2 August 1944.translated by
