The summit is easily accessible via a forest path. The parking lot Steingrund is only about 400m away. So also easy to reach for all those who are not good on foot.

The Bonstapel summit is the highest point in the Herford district.
The ascent is very different depending on the route. Some of the paths are a little overgrown, which doesn't bother me much, since it is also a nature reserve.
