"In 2017, on the initiative of Wilhelm Speckhardt, the regulars' table of the Brandau fire brigade set up a refuge at the Streithain, which was then named Wilhelmshütte. After that, the idea of setting up a panorama board with a view of the Krehberg came up and therefore has discussions with me added to the Geo-Naturpark Bergstrasse-Odenwald by the municipality.

The geo-nature park agreed to the plans and built a bench in the same place as early as 2019. When the weather was right, Ernst Seeger created the required panorama picture on which the striking viewpoints were labeled together with Willi Bickelhaupt.

At the beginning of March, the Geo-Nature Park implemented the planned “panorama board”, on which the panorama around the Krehberg can be viewed.

The regulars' table of the Brandau fire brigade thanks the Geo-Naturpark for their support. "
