Like all Cistercian monastery churches, it is dedicated to the Virgin Mary.
Construction of the monastery began around 1129, and it was officially founded around 1135.
Overall, the building's history is varied throughout the ages.
However, it's easy to distinguish the magnificent western Romanesque basilica and the spacious eastern choir complex.
From the inside, the building exudes grandeur and grandeur.
Works of art from various centuries can be found inside the monastery church.
This building impresses me every time I visit! 🤩

The abbey church of St. Mary is particularly impressive. But the outbuildings, the gatehouse, and the agricultural buildings are also very beautiful and interesting.
