One of the most important examples of industrial archeology in a landscape characterized by extraction wells and tunnels, ore washing works and docks, mine buildings and miners' homes is in Iglesiente, in the extreme south-west of Sardinia

The hike is great and not too heavy if you're quite fit. Wear walking shoes or running shoes since the trail is not maintained and is rocky.
