This 45km trail runs along Welland canal and connects Ontario and Erie lake.
It is mostly flat, except one hill when going up the Escarpment.
You can enjoy watching big ships climbing the Escarpment through 8 locks.
Along the way you can find many food and refreshment options.
Trail is 99% paved, just short section of gravel around Welland waste treatment plant.
