Nice gravel path, sometimes a few potholes. If you like nature, you're on the right track here 😉.

Lots of nature, beautiful flora and fauna 🙃

The Dubkow Moor isn't a place that puts itself on display – it's one that reveals itself to you. Anyone traveling along the Gurkenradweg (Gherkin Cycle Path) and seeking a moment of true scenery between the Raddusch and Leipe rivers will find one of the quietest and most impressive sections of the tour here.

The cycle path leads along a well-maintained gravel path through a light moor landscape that presents itself completely differently depending on the time of day: still covered in dew in the morning, shimmering with heat at midday, and in the evening with long shadows between gnarled trees. To the left, wide meadows where storks or swans forage for food – and sometimes even a whole family of Bewick's swans, if you're lucky. To the right, dense riverbanks conceal the actual body of the moor – marshy, quiet, and ecologically valuable.

What makes this section special is its mixture of openness and seclusion. Here, Brandenburg is as one would wish it to be in a picture book, only more honest: with mosquitoes, with wind in the stalks and with real moments of nature.
