From Lyø harbor there is a ferry connection to Faaborg and Avernakø. You can find more information on the timetable, prices and booking at inselfaehre.fmk.dk
There is also a marina with a harbor master's office and various service facilities for the sailors. At the harbor there is a small bay with a good bathing beach.
On the way from the harbor to the village you can see one of the oldest farms on Lyø on the right.In 2020 there are 81 inhabitants on Lyø.

The port of Lyø, connected to the island by a 250-meter-long dam,
can be accessed day and night in clear weather.The entrance is unmarked, and the ferry dock is not permitted.Lyø is located approximately 7 km west of Faaborg and covers an area of 605 hectares.The island is characterized by stone field margins and hedgerows of poplars and willows.The village of Lyø has one of the most charming villages in Denmark.Many of the 134 island residents descend from the 24 farming families
