At 1131m you have reached the highest point of Dalarna. A small inconspicuous pile of stones marks the actual summit - you are looking in vain for a summit cross here. From the top of the Städjan you have a fantastic view down to the winter sports resort Idre Fjäll and to the Norwegian mountains in the distance. There are also ski tourers here who have used the steep slope for some freeride runs.
