Hiking

From a historical point of view, the district of Häger cannot look back on such an "eventful" history: The railway stop of the same name was the reason for the development of the settlement. In 1895 Nienberge was connected to the Münster-Gronau line with a train station in the Häger family, and trains of the Euregio-Bahn between Münster and Enschede in the Netherlands still stop here today. With this construction of the Nienberg train station, the basis for the district of Häger was also created.

Hiking

In 1872, construction began on a railway from Münster to Enschede. However, Häger didn't receive a stop, only a "guard's hut" (guard's hut 7). It wasn't until 1878 that Häger actually received its own stop, at the initiative of some farmers and landowners who wanted to bring their produce to the Münster weekly market. In 1903, a freight loading point was added to the stop.
