The focal point of Flierich is the Protestant village church built in the late 12th century from soft Anröchter sandstone and consecrated to St. Michael, surrounded by a typical half-timbered building typical for the Middle Ages. Inside, the church holds a hanging, octagonal pulpit basket with sound cover from the year 1750. On the church square, which served as a burial place until 1826, stands a war memorial for the Fliericher victims of the Prussian-Austrian War (1866) and the French War (1870 -1871).
