The Bikepark Winterberg is run by the leisure company Erlebnisberg Kappe. According to the Federal Ministry of Transport, the sports facility is the largest of its kind in northern and central Germany. [1] The catchment area covers a radius of 100 to 200 km. From the immediate vicinity came, according to a study, only a few visitors. A large part comes from the urban centers on the Rhine and Ruhr. It is thus a leisure offer with emphasizes supraregional character. In the 2006 season (May to October), 30,000 visitors visited the facility.
