Hiking

Sterzens evening seat is located on a moraine hill. Several summer linden trees and some benches are arranged in a circle and invite you to rest. Nice view of the mountains like on the Katrin and the Zimnitz. Dr. Sterz was a colleague of Dr. med. Wirer, the founder of Bad Ischl as a health resort (from 1921).

Hiking

In December 1980 the group of trees was classified as a natural monument. The path up is beautifully laid out and it is a good place to quietly watch the sunset over Bad Ischl.
