The drainage on this one is pretty bad so in winter it's crank deep, maybe more, puddles.
A lot more manageable than in summer though, where the dirt/mud turns into a rutted nightmare.
Easy on a hardtail, challenging on 35mm tyres.

A good gravel road at the Old Gloucester Road end turns into a more woodland gravel/dirt track after the farm. Great fun and a good surface that will probably hold up in all but the wettest of winter weather.
Edit: I did this on New Years Day and it was a bit sloppy in places and had a 100 yards section that was underwater to around crank depth. It was still passable if you don't mind getting your feet wet!
