The Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Center welcomes you a short distance from the “Takijiri-oji” bus stop. There you can visit an exhibition about the pilgrimage route, equip yourself with maps, stamp books and flyers and buy the last items of equipment in the shop.

Hiking
The kumano kodo is an amazing hike. I did it running in three days. If you are a good hiker, the fist two legs can be done in one.
