Lake friends from the surrounding villages of Ytre Beiarn and Bodø can cool off in the Øvre Åselivatnet on hot days or relax in the sun. The lakes of Åselivatna (1 km), Nedre Åselivatnet (2.0 km) and Store Sandvatnet (6 km) are close by.
