From Ferleiten a comfortable hiking trail leads up to the Trauneralm. Past lush pastures and framed on both sides by towering mountains, the path leads to the Hohe Tauern National Park, whose summit you always have in view.

The Käfertal is ideally located. You can easily park at the toll station and start from there. After 2 - 2.5 hours you arrive at the Trauneralm. In between there are "adventure stations" such as Kneipp baths, things for kiddies and free running horses. Will def. not boring.

From Ferleiten you walk along this solid forest road to the water playground (approx. 3.7 km). Lush meadows, cows, horses and some adventure stations for the children to the left and right of the path. Also suitable for prams.
