In addition to natural cattle breeds such as Highlander, Galloway, Steppenrind and Wisent, you can also marvel at the elemental power of Germany's largest herd of bison. The park is also home to native wildlife.

The HWN stamp box is located slightly above the bison enclosure northwest of the riding and sports hotel. From here you also have a very nice view of the Einetal.

Very nicely laid out, the enclosures are very generous and spacious, which also benefits the animals. Absolutely take this round, if you are done with the game park on the other side.

From Stangerode follow the signs "Aussicht Bisongehege". You hike along a path with beautiful views, past the stamp box no. 86 of the Harzer hiking nobility and come to the bison enclosure. Nice views included. Do not forget your hat, it is very windy here.

The section is very scenic, always beautiful views of the Einetal and Stangerode. And of course on the many different cattle breeds.

Germany's largest bison herd can be found in the Nordmann wildlife park in Stangerode.
Like all animals in the wildlife park, the bison herd really has enough space. It is a natural spectacle to watch them from the opposite mountain while you are marveling at a large herd of red deer, changing from one pasture to the other.
The wildlife park is very nicely laid out and there are long and short, steep paths. there is also a petting zoo.

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the NORDMANN wildlife park.

Admission: € 5 from the machine in the parking lot

    Safari: 1 to 3 people € 30.
    Each additional adult € 10.00 / p. P.
    and children from 4-11 years each 5 € / p. P.

The stamp box is located near the large herd of bison. Unique impressions, because this herd is huge and you don't have the impression of a zoo.

Caution! - The stamping point 086 has been relocated and is now approx. 400 m northwest of this position. Coming from Stangerode just follow the path and keep left at the next intersection.
