The lake is located right at the entrance to the village, near the valley station of the Titlis cable car. The small lake is located at an altitude of 1,016 meters above sea level. The Eugenisee is approximately 300 meters long and 200 meters wide and is artificially regulated to generate electricity. The Engelberger Aa is both an inflow and outflow of the Eugenisee.
