This is by far the most beautiful pass on the Western Alps Cross. Some pushing is necessary, especially at the end, but the path for the last 400 meters is only steep and unblocked, so carrying isn't necessary. The descent is fantastic. If you push all the way to the summit, you can ride along a ridge trail. The way up, however, is immensely steep.
