Hiking
With an area of nearly 100 hectares, this important green space is located between the A Coruña highway, the University City and the Moncloa area. The park was born on the initiative of the mayor of Madrid, Mr. Alberto Aguilera, in 1906, and was the work of Celedonio Rodrigáñez, an agricultural engineer and director of the City Council's Gardens and Plantings. After the civil war, his successor in office, Cecilio Rodríguez, was in charge of rebuilding the park.
