For three generations, the Bacquaerts have been cultivating wine on eighteen hectares between the two mountains (French: "Entre-Deux-Monts") of Rodeberg and Zwarteberg, making them one of the northernmost wineries in Europe.
The climate here isn't as gentle as that of the Moselle or Saar—but the Bacquaerts see this as a challenge and cultivate Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Auxerrois, Pinot Noir, Acolon, Kerner, and Siegerrebe. The exceptional soil, with its iron ore and south-sloping soil, is well exposed to the sun, thus aiding grape ripening.

Take the time to visit and learn all about the winery's history and winemaking on a guided tour. After a stroll through the vineyard, you'll visit the vinification room and the wooden barrel cellar. In the tasting room, with its magnificent view of the vineyards, you can sample wines and learn the art of winemaking, including pruning, harvesting, and pressing.
