The oldest and probably only medieval monument in Peterzell is the Peterskirche, a small church with some still preserved Romanesque components (triumphal arch), a late Gothic choir (ribbed vault) and frescoes from the beginning of the 14th century (Epiphany, Christophorus) in the former Romanesque and 1904 abandoned longship. Since there are no written sources from the early Middle Ages on the history of the place - perhaps with one exception - the church is largely the only reference to the existence of Peterzell in the High Middle Ages or even earlier.Source: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peterzell_(St._Georgen_im_Schwarzwald)p.s.
