Tips

  • A really small canyon of 150 meters long and a maximum of 10 meters deep. However, what is really special are the exposed roots of the trees there, which make for a nice photo opportunity. It is advisable to take the path on the right or to walk all the way around. The place is also great for a short rest, even if there is unfortunately only one table with two benches.

  • The following text is taken from the inscription plate: The "gorge" of the Muckenbach leads through the geological layer of the Upper Burgsandstein. It is 150 meters long and up to 10 meters deep.
