In 1992, the municipality of Holle made it possible to rebuild the pedestrian bridge with the help of the Regional Association of Hildesheim e.V. The beautifully curved bridge has an iron lens support and a wooden plank crossing.

However, the pedestrian bridge could not be built at its old location, as it would lead to the private garden of the palace today. A detailed replica of the bridge was therefore not possible due to monument protection objections. The railing does not have decorative rings and does not end in sandstone blocks, as Laves intended.

Nevertheless, the bridge, which today spans a branch of the Nette, gives an impression that comes very close to the original.
