Best Hikes to Muschel and Holy Sepulchre Chapels on St. Salvator

Tips

  • In addition to the rock chapel, two other chapels were built on the Salvator in the 18th century: At the beginning the shell chapel, which is covered in the interior with gravel mortar, shells and snails and has a barrel vault. The second chapel was built at the end of the 18th century after 1792 and is a holy grave chapel. Your windows were built at the end of the 19th century.

  • A very impressive chapel at the end of the Stations of the Cross. Due to moisture damage, the entrance door should always be closed. Light comes in through the two painted side windows. Therefore, it's relatively dark inside. But that adds a certain something.
