The higher of the two stone slab peaks offers a very nice view of the eastern Alpine region up to the Watzmann and the Berchtesgadener Land.

The highest peak on the Steinplatte, although not the one with the best view of the valley. Otherwise really great view of the Loferer, Berchtesgadener and Kaiser mountains, as well as the peripheral Alps such as Sonntagshorn, Hochfelln, Hochgern and Kampenwand. Very worthwhile summit.
