The Peenebrücke Wolgast is a combined road and rail bascule bridge over the Peenestrom in Wolgast. It connects the island of Usedom with the Wolgaster Schlossinsel, which is connected to the West Pomeranian mainland via the Schlossgrabenbrücke and a separate railway bridge. The 111 federal road and the Züssow – Wolgast Hafen railway line with their extension to Świnoujście Centrum run across the Peene Bridge. The number of vehicles on the road averages around 12,000 vehicles a day; Heavy-duty vehicles make up less than five percent of this.
