The wildlife park became known nationwide for its special keeping of various species of deer and wild sheep. They can move freely in the park. The park visitor can walk among these animals and clearly observe the natural lifestyle of these species. The Knüll Wildlife Park is a 50 hectare wildlife park opened in 1968 on the edge of the Knüll Mountains in the Schwalm-Eder district, Hesse (Germany). It is part of the Schwalm-Eder company. About 450 animals of 40 different species are kept here. Every year around 70,000 people visit the zoo. The northern center of the area is the wooded Streuflingkopf (approx. 413 m), on which there is also a wooden observation tower.
