Hiking

The most spectacular natural experience is the approximately 500 hectare Polish Sahara, the shifting dunes near Łeba. These were created many centuries ago because the inhabitants of the time cleared the forest. So there was no longer any obstacle and the sand was able to spread unhindered by the wind and further areas of the forest disappeared beneath it. The dunes are still moving today, up to 10 meters a year.
