Entschenkopf zum Oberen Gaisalpsee

Here you need a head for heights and good slip resistance. It's better to go up than down.

Beautiful route with perfect views towards Nebelhorn, Gr./Kl. Thumb and red tip on the one hand and Rubihorn, Gaisalphorn and the two Gaisalpseen on the other hand.Sure-footedness necessary, from time to time beautiful views!

Short climbing passage, well feasible, you should just be concentrated after the past 1100 vertical meters.

The Entschenkopf can be reached from the north (from the Falkenjoch) as well as from the south (from the upper Gaisalpsee). Both climbs require sure-footedness and a head for heights.

Climb over the north ridge + descent via the south ridge via Gängele with a few exposed spots well feasible. Always great views of the southern Allgäu high Alps. Take care when wet!
