The refuge is located in the heart of the Écrins park, slightly overlooking the Muzelle lake.
It has a capacity of 70 beds and offers a catering service. You can even ask for a picnic to be prepared provided you book it in advance.

It is a communally owned hut that offers a little more comfort than typical Alpine Club huts. Even showering is possible. The innkeepers prepare delicious meals and are quite personable.
