On the site of the old Backnanger indoor pool, a small park was set up, the Annonay plant. Named for the twin town Backnangs in France.
Visually outstanding is a climbing frame in the form of a Montgolfiere. A Montgolfiere is the first hot air balloon, invented by the brothers Mongolfier, who were born in Annonay.
