The fire brigade fountain on Mariannenplatz in Berlin-Kreuzberg consists of a shallow water basin and a group of sculptures by Kurt Mühlenhaupt (1921–2006), with which the work of the fire brigade is presented in a humorous way. It is the successor to an earlier well with a similar theme at this point.

By the way, the fire brigade monument is lived. Every year on the Sunday of the Dead, firefighters who died on the job are commemorated here. The big noses are a specialty of the painter, sculptor and writer Kurt Mühlenhaupt, who also became known as the Kreuzberg milieu painter and who created this monument. In front of the Mühlenhaupt Museum, of course also in Kreuzberg, there are figures with just such provocative olfactory organs: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurt_M%C3%BChlenhaupt_Museum#/media/FILE:View_Input_KMM_Kreuzberg.jpg
