Wow, what a fantastic mountain world! And right in the middle is a gravel road that spits you out just below the Col de la Bonette. For the most part the gravel is very coarse. A gravel bike with a light gear ratio and wide tires can still get up well here. A little driving technique is definitely an advantage on this route. And don't forget: stop often and enjoy the wonderful panorama.

It's a bit of a hike a bike in spots due to the loose gravel, but it's a fun adventure and beautiful gravel road at the beginning and end. You just have to endure the middle section to make it through :)
