Cycling
In 1815, it became a Céruse factory. White lead has been known to be the best white pigment since ancient times. Its use was banned at the beginning of the 20th century.
In 1835, it became the headquarters of a slate company.
It has today become the collection center, post office and municipal services for the town of Fumay. A property which has seen, as you can see, many utilitarian aspects over the years.

The brick façade, accented with blue stone, and the characteristic pavilions with inverted-tulip roofs and violet slates from Fumay, make the building a prime example of regional aristocratic architecture from the last quarter of the 17th century.
